Donations

Posted on September 9th, 2011 in Domain News,Donate by dglosser

We were recently asked if we will remove a domain if we receive a “donation”.    Of course, the answer is no.

We’ve also been accused of asking for a “donation” in order to have a website delisted.   Again, that is completely untrue.

The  malware blocklist on this site is a  list of domains which have been associated with viruses or malware collected from public sources.

This is a completely volunteer effort as part of the fight against malware.  And loses money every month.

All donations  are used to offset  hosting costs and is totally independent of any site listing.

Donation Request for SSL Cert

Posted on February 18th, 2011 in Donate by dglosser

We’ve received several requests to add an SSL cert to our downloads.     As it is, we do not receive nearly enough donations to offset the hosting and infrastructure costs. If you find this site useful, please consider donating so we can add an SSL cert as well as additional functionality. Thanks.

SSL for malwaredomains.com

Posted on November 12th, 2009 in Domain News,Donate by dglosser

We’ve had several requests to add SSL to malwaredomains to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks.

The annual hosting,  domain, and infrastructure costs need to be paid,  and we have not received enough donations to cover even 20% of those costs.

Please donate whatever you can so we can continue to keep malwaredomains free for noncommercial use and add additional features such as SSL.

Sponsorships are available as well.  Thank you.

Full List of IE 0day exploit domains

Posted on July 6th, 2009 in Domain News,Donate by dglosser

The Internet Storm Center has a running list of IE 0day exploit domains.

Many of these domains are already listed, those which are not will be added on the next update. Check the SANS list often and update your own blacklist often.

PS – because of the mention of this site traffic has increased dramatically. Please consider donating to help hosting and infrastructure costs.

Botnet Malware Defense (Internet Storm Center)

Posted on March 14th, 2008 in Donate by dglosser

The internet storm center has mentioned blocking domains as one way to help block botnet infections.  They specifically mentioned malwaredomains.com  and emergingthreats.net:  http://www.incidents.org/diary.html?storyid=4138

If you want to help in the fight against malware, please consider donating to help hosting and research costs. The donate button is on the top left of every page.

Also, if you want to keep this list up-to-date, you can help revalidate the domains listed in the domains.txt file. This will help to remove old domains and keep the list as small as possible. Contact us if you want to help in this important process.

Finally, if you want to receive email updates, please test the feedburner link on the right side of the page.

Everything here is offered free of charge — we make absolutely no money: All money will go to hosting costs. Please donate whatever you can in order to keep this site free

A donate button is located in the left menu bar.

Also, please contact us if you can donate space for a static page and the domain files ;)

Full acknowledgement, an icon, and link back to your site will be placed on this site.

Sponsorships are also available, please email me at david12.glosser423@9gmail88.2com (remove all numbers).

Donate to Help Hosting Costs

Posted on December 2nd, 2007 in Donate by dglosser

I’ve set up a PayPal donate button. All money will go to hosting costs. In addition, Google Adsense should be running in a day or two. Please be careful when clicking on the links as we know the Bad Guys ™ sometimes use ads to push traffic to their sites.
Again, all money goes to defray hosting costs.

Several people have inquired about donating space on their server. I think this is a great idea, as the bandwidth for the site is limited.

Please contact me if you can donate space for a static page and the domain files ;)

Full acknowledgement, an icon, and link back to your site will be placed on this site.
